I am Director at NHS Horizons, working alongside Dr Helen Bevan.
NHS Horizons’ work is at the forefront of NHS improvement initiatives that have made a difference for tens of thousands of patients. We have run and supported cutting-edge change initiatives across the healthcare system, including NHS Fab Change Day and the School for Change Agents http://theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk/school/. Our team includes a range of nationally recognised experts in organising, large-scale change and related methodologies. We convert theory into practical outcomes with system-wide impact, transforming healthcare for the better.
In 2016 I was a US-UK Fulbright Commission Scholar and Visiting Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
I am a barrister-at-law (Call 2006) and practised Public and Employment Law at 11KBW Chambers for several years. As National Director of the award-winning social enterprise Movement for Change, I led a national team in the development of political organising strategy, implementing an internationally recognised Community Organising training programme. I combine specialist legal expertise with both Public Policy and political experience. Prior to starting work at the NHS, I regularly consulted into and advised social enterprises, companies, political organisations and public bodies at a senior level.
