I am an experienced transformation lead, with a clinical background and a track record of implementing complex and large-scale change at both strategic and tactical levels. My key strengths include: translating complex policy into major service improvement programmes for implementation at national, regional and local levels; delivering productive clinical, staff and partner engagement strategies to facilitate senior-level buy-in and effective programme delivery; facilitating effective senior level relationships & partnership/network arrangements within organisations as well as across health and care economies and leading genuine and meaningful participation for people living with long term conditions, their carers and their communities.
Following qualification as a Registered Nurse with the Dudley Group of Hospitals, I undertook various clinical roles including; a Transplant Co-ordinator at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, supporting families, theatre teams and ITU staff for both retrieval and transplantation, ITU nurse at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Renal Nurse at Royal Sussex County Hospital and a Staff Nurse on a medical ward for people with Diabetes at Russell's Hall Hospital, Dudley. Currently a Return to Practice Student.
