Build your skills for creating positive change by joining The School for Change Agents - starting 14 February!

Would you like to develop your skills to make a difference and create a positive change in health and care? We have fantastic news for you - The School for Change Agents is returning on 14 February!

The School offers anyone who works in health and care or is seeking a career in this sector, at whatever level and whether they are clinical or non-clinical, the opportunity and tools to learn how to create change!

There are five interactive sessions to complete on FutureLearn:

  1. Change starts with me
  2. Resourcefulness
  3. Using power to make a difference
  4. Using stories to create change
  5. Making sense of complexity

The School is free to join and take part in. All you need is an internet connection.  The sessions are arranged into 'bite-sized' chunks so that you can complete them in your own time, and in your own way.  You can take part on a computer, tablet or on a mobile device.

Each session includes a range of articles and videos that feature people just like you talking about their own experiences of creating change.

The lively community of fellow learners on FutureLearn (as well as on Twitter, and in the Facebook group) means that you not only gain a wealth of useful knowledge, you can also build your networks and learn from each other as you reflect on how you can use the skills you've gained to take action.

This is another opportunity for anyone who missed joining School in May and November last year - this is a re-run of the same sessions.

Here's what people who took part in the last run of the School shared with the community:

It was great to see some change agents being empowered by the School's contents!

It was also fantastic that people from the vibrant #S4CA community were planning study clubs to share knowledge with other change agents! We hope to see more of this...

The School for Change Agents' brilliant online community can help its people to share stories and experiences that in turn will help our NHS people to make sense of what has happened during a difficult few years with the Covid-19 pandemic. It also gives a much-needed support to those who want to learn more about how to embed, or even expand, some of the positive transformations in public services that have arisen as a result of this crisis.

Ready to learn how to become an effective change agent? Join now!

If you would like to learn more about the School and its creation, here is a wonderful blog on the history of the School and a recording of the Fab Change day 2021 School for Change Agents tent where there is a detailed run through its evolution.

We’d also love for you to continue the conversation with us online using hashtag #S4CA.
