We think we should "speak with conviction" to influence others. Yet paradoxically, in speaking with conviction, we might be sending a signal of a fixed mind, not open to new ideas. Inclusive leaders need to signal openness to diverse views. Read more on this here.

On Wednesday, Helen's cat Rolf @RolfatWarwick who is the @warwickuni campus cat, turned on the campus Christmas lights in a special ceremony. Nearly a thousand students turned up. The little fellow was completely unfazed as he was stroked & photographed hundreds of times. It was magical.
