Improvement

As the pace of change cranks up, we need to invest in being "change-ready". Resilience (bouncing back from tough challenges) matters, but adaptability (bouncing forward into new opportunities as our circumstances evolve & change) matters more. For more insight, check out the article linked here.

More & more of the teams are building visuals into their improvement work: sketchnote summaries, creative group work, storyboarding & infographics. There's good evidence to show that this can speed up learning, aid retention & support change. Here is a brilliant graphic by @ImpactWales.

Helen has been part of a few Twitter debates on the word "failure". Some people think it's a wholly negative term and we should call the kind of failure that leads to learning something else. Wellbeing

For those of us who are meant to be having the weekend away from work. We all need some downtime. Here's some advice from @OzolinsJanis.

Yvonne Ormston is a special colleagues of our in Horizons and it is wonderful to celebrate this milestone together! To quote Brene Brown: "We desperately need more leaders who are committed to courageous, wholehearted leadership and who are self-aware enough to lead from their hearts, rather than unevolved leaders who lead from hurt & fear". That's you and you're amazing Yvonne!
